Jonathan returns to his love of tennis three years after nearly escaping death due to an illness.	After losing his left hand, right tips of his fingers, right foot and left tips of his toes from the illness that struck him in January 2015, Jonathan thought he might have to give up the game.
Jonathan is able to play tennis again with a left hand transplant and a prosthetic for his right hand that keeps his racket in place as the ball exerts force on his racket during contact that had previously caused him to drop the racket. He also has a below the knee prosthetic on his right side that helps with lateral movements.	Never give up hope. If you love to do something, find a way to do it... even if it takes a few years.
